I have been a member of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club organization, for almost 40 years – in fact as long as I have been running my own practice.
During this time I have supported through my membership numerous charitable and community causes. One of the 5 main causes Lions are supporting at the moment is Childhood Cancer.
With the aim of raising funds for the two main children’s cancer charities in the UK, I will donate £10 for every self-assessment tax return I complete by 30 September every year.
This encourages my clients to submit their tax papers earlier than usual and at the same time benefit the causes which I am supporting.
